Sarah Bellin is an award-winning, internationally active director for stage, film and opera. Sarah is the co-founder and producing artistic director of the acclaimed Swiss performance group Kollektiv-20-14. Sarah was nominated for the 2020 Zurich Film Festival/SRF Treatment Award for their feature length script “On Becoming a Warrior in this Lifetime.” Some recent directing credits include: TWELFTH NIGHT (Kline Theater @ Gettysburg College), staged reading of GOLD! (Swiss Embassy NYC), POSION: A Marriage Story (Turbine Theater Zurich), MY GOLDEN GIRL (Hudson Guild Theater, NYC), ELENORA DUZA DIES IN PITTSBURGH (East Side Festival of the Arts), DADA before DADA (Zürcher Festspiele); THE KREUTZER SONATA adapted from the novella by Tolstoy (Turbine Theater); THE CHERRY ORCHARD by Anton Chekhov (Turbine Theater); THE ARSONISTS by Max Frisch. Sarah holds an MFA in directing from the New School for Drama in NYC and an MA in Film Directing from the Zürich University of the Arts.
